FARMINGTON – The 55th annual Dartmouth Trophy Cup race is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at Titcomb Mountain.

This historic race is for any Farmington Ski Club member, ages 12 and under. Anyone who has a Titcomb pass is a club member, and the race is open to skiers and snowboarders.

The race is named for the Dartmouth alumni that gave the cup in honor of Jack Titcomb, their classmate. Captain John “Jack” Abbot Titcomb was killed at the end of World War II, and the recreation area was named in his memory.

The overall boy and girl winners will receive a cup, as well as having their names added to the generations of other winners on the trophy. The winners and participants of age groups will also receive ribbons.

Registration is currently taking place at the Titcomb Lodge, and will continue from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on race day. Course inspection begins at 12:00, and there will be Buddy Werner coaches there to assist with anyone who needs it.
