Auction slated
FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a public auction on Saturday, March 31, at the Mt. Blue Middle School. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and the auction will start at 6. Many businesses and individuals have donated items and gift certificates. The proceeds will benefit educational programs. Race rescheduled
FARMINGTON – Maine’s Down East Sled Dog Club finished its regular race season recently, but has rescheduled the Farmington Dog Races (canceled in February due to lack of snow) for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 10 and 11.
The races will be run at Buzzy York’s Sandy River Farm, Farmington Falls Road. For more information, contact race organizers Joy and Mark Turner, 645-2864.
