William Low, assistant curator of the Bates College Museum of Art, works to install exhibit, The Graphic Work of Charlie Hewitt. Hewitt is a Lewiston-born artist living in Portland. The exhibit features more than 75 works, with a number of them depicting life and culture in symbolism of Lewiston. The public is invited to join the artist at a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bates’ Olin Arts Center.
