BRUNSWICK – “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is this year’s Shakespearean production by The Theater Project’s Young Company. Twenty-two high-school actors from Brunswick, Topsham, Yarmouth and Cumberland will be on stage March 16-25, in the comedy.

“This is a great play for high-school actors and audiences,” director Al Miller said. “It’s lively, it’s a fantasy, and it has teen romance that goes hilariously awry when two couples get lost in the woods, thanks to the mischievous Puck, who serves Oberon, the fairy king.”

Set designer Christopher Price has created an abstract yet playful environment for the actors to inhabit. JP Gagnon is overseeing lighting design, and Reba Short is the costumer.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Suggested ticket price: $10. For information and reservations, call the box office at 729-8584.
