LEWISTON – Saturday, March 24, will be transformed into Super Saturday at Lewiston Adult Education. Local adults have indicated an interest in participating in classes to build skills or to learn something new, but their schedules prohibit them from attending classes that meet during the week or involve a significant time commitment.

Lewiston Adult Education has dedicated one Saturday each semester to courses that can be completed in one day. This term, Super Saturday has been set for March 24 and will include 12 courses.

Offerings will include a variety of basket weaving classes, sculpting with oven-polymer clay, crocheting, orienteering and creative writing. There will be two computer training options, one using Excel and one using PowerPoint. There will also be two workshops on food allergies and grief recovery, which will be conducted by a local registered nurse.

All classes will be completed in six hours or less. For attendees who stay all day, lunch will be provided. For details and to register, go online at www.lewistonadulted.org or call 795-4141.
