No surprises in A and B-2 Division playoffs at MPC LEWISTON -There were no upsets as playoffs began Thursday in the A and B-2 Divisions of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball Legue at the Multi-Purpose Center.

A Division

The form sheet held true in the A Division. Bio-Processing (1) defeated Motley Crew (4), 25-15, 25-20; Peru+1 (2) beat CWT Builders (3), 25-18, 26-24; CWT Builders then eliminated the Motley Crew, 21-25, 25-17, 15-8.

Thursday’s playoff schedule: 6:30, Bio-Processing vs Peru+2; 7:15, Loser of 6:30 match vs CWT Builders; 8:00, Championship round.

B-2 Division

In opening action, Spiked & Dangerous (2) defeated Fontaine Team (3), 21-19, 21-11; Janet McCarthy, Realty swept E.J. Drywall (4), 21-13, 21-16; and Fontaine eliminated Drywall, 21-12, 21-12.

Playoffs will continue next Thursday, as follows: 6:30, Spiked & Dangerous vs McCarthy; 7:15, Fontaine vs Loser 6:30 match; 8:00, Championship round.
