STRONG – The wedding of Sarah Pratt and Michael Churchill was held at 5 p.m. on June 24 at the home of the bride’s grandparents in Strong. Doug Walrath officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Churchill is the daughter of Rupert and Susan Pratt of Strong. Mr. Churchill is the son of Braden B. and Patricia L. Churchill of Kingfield.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown with periwinkle accents and lilies.

Erica Brown, cousin of the bride, was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Deanna Wiggin, cousin of the bride, and Cheryl Sillanpaa, aunt of the bride. Brooke Bolduc, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Braden L. Churchill, brother of the bridegroom, and ushers were Andrew Pratt II, brother of the bride, and Bun Hem, friend of the bridegroom. Hunter Bolduc, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the River Run Farm in Strong, after which the couple traveled to Prince Edward Island.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Mt. Abram High School and attended the Capilo School of Hair Design. She is employed at Nancy’s Fashion Cuts.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Mt. Abram High School and is employed at Mountain Mechanical Heating and Plumbing.
