AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 hosted Helen Boisvert of Baileyville, vice president of the Rebekah Assembly, recently. Diane Treacy, vice grand, officiated at the meeting in the absence of Noble Grand Doreen Locke.

District Deputy President Esther Tucker and her marshal, Priscilla Campbell, have been accompanying Boisvert as she makes her official visits to the District 3 lodges.

In addition to Liberty, the other lodges are Colfax 27 in Mechanic Falls and Nina 86 in Lisbon. The official visitations will take place before the district meeting on Saturday, April 14. Each lodge presents a president’s tableau to depict the program of the assembly president, Helen Witham.

The next meeting of Liberty will be Monday, April 2, at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane. It will begin with a social gathering and games at 6 p.m. All members are encouraged to invite a friend.

It is also an opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the Rebekahs to attend. All are welcome. A film about the Rebekahs will be shown. Snacks will be served before the meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m.
