LEWISTON – The top 3 seeded teams remain alive in the post-season playoffs in the B-1 Division of the Lewiston Rec Coed Volleyball League at the Multi-Purpose Center.

South of the Border (3) is the lone unbeaten club and has entered the championship round. Team Air Force (1) and Team Keller (2) both have 1 loss and will meet in the semifinal match.

In Wednesday’s action, South of the Border defeated Team Keller, 21-18, 17-21, 21-14; Team Air Force beat Strout CPA (4), 24-22, 21-11; and Team Keller eliminated Maine Commercial Door/Buddy T’s (5), 21-14, 15-21, 21-18. In a battle of unbeaten clubs, South of the Border outlasted Team Air Force, 21-11, 18-21, 24-22. Team, Keller then ousted Downeast Pension (7), 21-14, 21-10.

Next Wednesday, Team Keller will clash with Team Air Force at 6:15 in the semifinal match. The winner advances to the championship round against South of the Border at 7:00, needing 2 wins to claim the title.
