Dear Sun Spots: I don’t know how to put this politely, but here’s my problem: My cat urinated on my bed. It soaked right through the bedding and mattress pad into the mattress. I used a hydrogen peroxide solution that got rid of the stain but there is still some odor. I wonder if you or your readers would have any suggestions to get rid of the smell. At this point I’ll try anything. Thanks. – C.H., Monmouth.

Dear Sun Spots: A couple of years ago I saw an advertisement in Maxim about receivers that you attach to your walls and they turn into speakers. Does anybody have an address or phone number for the manufacturer?

Also, my grandmother was an artist. If anyone has any works by Betty Malmquist, please contact me at prettyboy12000@yahoo.com. Also, might someone please be able to help me learn how to start up my own Web page by sending me the information on how to do it? Thank you. – No Name, Lewiston

Dear Sun Spots: This is in response to doggie day care needed for someone in Auburn (Saturday, March 24, column): There is an excellent one in Poland. The owners are Allen and Sarah and it is called “The Dog Lodge.” It is a great place where the dogs have their own futons in their own special rooms. They even have a fireplace. The outside area is all fenced in with a huge area to run in. Our dog Cleo loves to go there. They may be reached at 998-4648. – Cleo from Monmouth.

Dear Sun Spots: My daughter has been given two beautiful white gowns made from satin, polyester, acetate, cotton, nylon and tulle. There is beading at the neckline, they are floor length and in children’s size 14/16. I would like to know if there is a professional in the area who would dye the gowns a different color? I am willing to pay a reasonable price. They are labeled “dry clean only” and I do not dare to dye them myself with RIT. Thanks very much. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I’m looking for some relatives. Second cousins. The father is John Duffy and a son Scott. We lost touch after my parents died, and I lost their numbers. It would be great to hear from them again so I can introduce them to our growing family. I am Ronald Griffiths and may be reached via mail at 471 Court St., Apt. 2, Auburn, ME 04210. They may also reach me via phone at 333-6379. Thanks. – Ronald Griffiths, Auburn.
