Although winter weather has returned to Maine, golf leagues are being planned at many area golf courses. Following are some of them.

Wilson Lake

WILTON – Registration for the Wednesday Night Men’s Golf League is being taken in the Pro Shop. The league will start in late May.

The clubhouse is now open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:30, and on Wednesdays from 9-1. Lunches will be served beginning on Thursday, April 5.

New members are welcome and membership forms can be picked up in the Pro Shop. More information can be obtained by calling Gavin Kane at 645-2016.

Summit

POLAND – The Summit Ladies Golf League will begin on May 15 at 8 a.m. All members and non-members are welcome to join. Golfing for non-members will be 9 holes for $9 plus cart. More information can be obtained by contacting Summit Golf Course at 998-4515.

Turner Highlands

TURNER – A Men’s League meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Fore Seasons Restaurant. For more information call Turner Highlands Country Club at 224-7060.

The Turner Highlands Ladies League will be holding in informational meeting on Wednesday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fore Seasons Restaurant.
