AUBURN – The weatherman has thrown a curve to the Auburn Suburban Little League. Tryouts scheduled Saturday at the ASLL complex have been moved indoors to the Edward Little High School gym.

They will take place between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., with the following schedule: 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Girls Softball, ages 8-12; 12 to 1 p.m., Baseball, ages 8-9; 1-2 p.m., Baseball, ages 10-12; 2 p.m., Baseball, age 13; 2:30, Baseball, age 14; 3:00, Baseball, ages 15-16.

Due to the number of players trying out and the space available, siblings and parents will not be allowed in the gym area during the tryout times.

An approved ASLL manager and one coach from each team will be evaluating the players.

Those in the Major Baseball/Softball Divisions and the Senior Baseball Division already placed on a team do not have to try out and will not be allowed in the gym due to safety regulations.

Late registrations will be accepted Saturday. Cost is $60 plus a $20 waiver fee for the fund-raiser for a total of $80.00. All fund-raisers need to be handed in at this time.
