AUGUSTA – The wedding of Tiffany Brooke Elwell and John Wadsworth Alden was held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Augusta. The Rev. Elizabeth Miller officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Alden is the daughter of Ranleigh and Trudy Elwell of Bowdoin. Mr. Alden is the son of John and Cindy Alden of Topsham.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory Victorian style strapless gown with scalloped train and she carried a bouquet of hydrangea with holly berries.

A sister of the bride, Lindsey Elwell, was honor attendant, and Matt Lafreniere, friend, was best man.
