OXFORD – A longtime employee of Oxford Homes was injured in an accident Wednesday at the Route 26 manufacturing plant.
Stanley Nurmi Sr. received a leg wound when the circular saw he was operating slipped and gashed his leg, said Oxford Homes owner Peter Connell. Nurmi, who works on the exterior wall department, was cutting sheathing at the time of the accident, Connell said.
Nurmi was taken by ambulance to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway where he was treated and released.
Nurmi’s age and address were not available Wednesday.
