BRUNSWICK – Bowdoin College’s department of theater and dance will present its 36th annual spring dance concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 19-20-21, in Pickard Theater.
All performances are open to the public.
General admission tickets are free and available at the David Saul Smith Union information desk, by calling 725-3375 and at the door.
The concert features faculty-guided dances and student creations that include a Bollywood extravaganza, the body rhythms of Bowdoin’s Unity Step Team, precision jazz, improvisatory Brazilian Capoeira, and tap virtuoso Sammie Francis, a Bowdoin sophomore, performing an unlikely and playful tap response to Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack.”
