MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Jim Cabrera led all players with four goals and one assist as Middlebury posted an 18-7 win over Bates in men’s lacrosse Tuesday.

Middlebury jumped out to a 10-2 lead at halftime, and never looked back. Mike Stone contributed three goals, while Tom Petty, Bart Witmer, and Skyler Hopkins each added a pair of goals.

Justin Simon led the Bates offense with his third straight hat trick. Bryan Frates, Matt Erisman, Amadi Cisse, and Brent Morin each added a goal for the effort.

Women’s lacrosse
Worcester State 23, Thomas College 0

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester women’s lacrosse team dominated Thomas College, registering a 23-0 triumph.

Sixteen different players scored, including Ann Clark with three, while Shannon Feeley, Linh Nguyen, Megan Rosborough, Kim Cosenza and Amanda Cosenza each added two.

The Worcester women held the advantage in shots, 43-1, with keeper Lyndsey Nunes saving the lone Thomas College shot.
