LEWISTON – The Visible Community will be canvassing downtown Lewiston starting at 6 p.m. today to hear from Maple Street neighborhood residents where they would like to see the park relocated. The canvass is part of the Visible Community’s work on the People’s Downtown Master Plan.

The Visible Community received a $20,000 grant from the Self Development of People for the development of the master plan, which will be created by residents of downtown and will reflect the desires of people who live here, with input from city government.

The Visible Community meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Room A, on the first floor of the B Street Community Center. The public is welcome. People who can’t make the meetings but have an opinion may send an e-mail to [email protected].
