BUCKFIELD – Cirque du Soleil performer Steve Ragatz, who has been entertaining audiences with his juggling, physical comedy, stilt walking and general antics for more than two decades, will perform Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, at Oddfellow Theater.

He will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m., as part of the theater’s May Early Evening Shows.

As a six-year veteran of the French-Canadian circus Cirque du Soleil, Ragatz has performed throughout North America. His TV credits include “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” and “The Today Show.”

The show will also feature Amanda Huotari, of the popular Odd Company, and Fabrizio Paladin. Together, they will perform excepts from their upcoming show “Lo Spettacolo-The Exhausting Affairs of Love.”

Paladin is an award-winning actor, playwright and musician who comes from the small town of Treviso, just outside Venice, Italy. With an expertise in Commedia dell Arte and improvisation, he holds a graduate degree in literature and philosophy from the University of Bologna.

Rounding out the show will be the Hartford-Sumner Elementary Destination Imagination state champs.
