After reading Leonard Pitts’ column: “Imus not the only one who ought to be ashamed,” (April 16) I certainly agree.

It also appears Imus was not the only one who should have been fired, or sanctioned. Bernard McGuirk, producer of the Imus show, participated in this conversation equally. He ought to have been axed, too.

The “entertainment” industry needs some cleaning up big time.

I don’t believe that this is the free speech the U.S. Constitution protects.
