The Lewiston Maineiacs will face the Val d’Or Foreurs in President’s Cup final, tentatively set to begin Friday night at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.
Martin Thibeault potted his fourth goal of the playoffs to lift the Foreurs to a 4-2 win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in Game 7.
Lewiston won both meetings between the two teams this season, taking a 4-2 victory at home and eking out a 3-2 overtime win in Val d’Or.
