AUBURN – The following cases were closed recently in the Androscoggin County Superior Court:

Ronald Saultes, 38, Farmington, probation violation on Oct. 23, 2001, operating a motor vehicle after revocation and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs charges and July 5, 2001, operating motor vehicle after revocation charge, sentenced to 43 months at the state prison and probation revoked for each charge; also charged with operating after habitual offender revocation, with three priors, and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs charges, both charges dismissed.

Jarrod J. Saunders, 28, Auburn, disorderly conduct and criminal threatening on April 24, 2005, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 24 hours at the county jail on first charge; sentenced to 364 days at the county jail with all suspended and one year probation on second charge; also charged with operating under the influence and driving to endanger on Oct. 29, 2005, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $575 and license suspended 30 days.

Gary Schneider, 49, Auburn, probation violation on a Dec. 21, 1991 driving by habitual offender charge, sentenced to eight months and probation partially revoked and continued.

Duriel L. Shanks, 24, Lewiston, unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug and criminal forfeiture of property on March 2, 2006, first charge dismissed; second charge forfeited.

Said A. Sheikhyousef, 29, Lewiston, assault on April 10, 2006, filed with no cost.

Justin B. Sites, 31, Sabattus, assault on Dec. 22, found guilty, sentenced to two years at the county jail with all but 120 days suspended and two years probation.

Amy E. Smith, 30, Buckfield, operating under the influence, with one prior, on April 21, 2006, found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to seven days at the county jail and license suspended 18 months.

Michael B. Smith, 24, Auburn, probation violation on a Aug. 7, 2005 theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, sentenced to 30 days at the county jail and probation partially revoked and continued.

Joshua W. Souther, 29, Livermore Falls, terrorizing on Aug. 10, 2005 and criminal mischief on Sept. 9, 2005, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 for each charge; also charged with assault, obstructing the report of a crime and violating condition of release on Jan. 17, first and second charges dismissed; found guilty on third charge, sentenced to 24 hours at the county jail.

Vincent L. Steed, 25, Lewiston, illegal possession of a firearm or crossbow and criminal forfeiture of property on April 7, 2006, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to six months at the county jail; second charge forfeited; also charged with assault and violating condition of release on Sept. 18, both charges dismissed; and assault and violating condition of release on Oct. 28, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 365 days at the state prison with all suspended and one year probation on first charge; sentenced to 30 days at the county jail and one year probation on second charge; and violation of condition of release on Nov. 1, found guilty, sentenced to 30 days at the county jail; and operating while license suspended or revoked, failure to give a correct name, address and/or date of birth, and violating condition of release on Jan. 12, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; second and third charges dismissed; and violating condition of release on Jan. 14, dismissed.

Frederick L. Strout, 46, Lewiston, two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on Oct. 20, 2005, found guilty on both charges, fined $400 and sentenced to seven days at the county jail for each charge.

Trezjuan M. Thompson, 23, Lisbon, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs on Dec. 2, 2005, dismissed.

Trezjuan M. Thompson, 23, Auburn, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and violating condition of release on June 5, 2006, found guilty on both charges, fined $400 and sentenced to two years at the state prison on first charge; sentenced to six months at the county jail on second charge.

Ronald R. Tierney, 39, Turner, assault on March 4, 2006, dismissed.

Amber T. Touchton, 21, Sabattus, assault and violating condition of release on Jan. 1, found guilty on first charge, fined $300 and sentenced to 20 days at the county jail; second charge dismissed.

Robert M. Townson, 21, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Jan. 25, 2006, found guilty, fined $400, sentenced to 365 days at the county jail with all but 45 days suspended and one year probation.

Michael L. Trepanier, 20, Lewiston, probation violation on a July 22, 2005 burglary charge, sentenced to one year at the county jail with all but 30 days suspended and one year probation.

John P. Vaccarello, 30, Cumberland, negotiating a worthless instrument on Feb. 9, 2006, found guilty, sentenced to six months at the county jail with all suspended, one year probation and restitution of $6,000.

Danny S. Velez, 40, Auburn, operating after habitual offender revocation, with prior, on Jan. 11, 2006, found guilty, fined $1,000 and sentenced to 30 days at the county jail.

Deborah West, 42, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Nov. 21, 2005, found guilty, fined $500.

Eva J. Whitney, 44, Lewiston, disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration on March 11, 2006, both charges filed with no cost.

Raymond P. Williams, 38, Litchfield, assault and disorderly conduct on July 19, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $300.

Steven Laforest Witham III, 21, Falmouth, burglary and violating condition of release on Dec. 5, 2005, and burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on May 30, 2005, all charges dismissed.

Larry W. Wood, 42, Bangor, probation violation on the Jan. 5, 2002, burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges, and Dec. 10, 2001 negotiating a worthless instrument charge, probation partially revoked and continued and no sentenced imposed for each charge.

Kyle M. Woodard, 41, Lewiston, assault on April 9, 2006, found guilty, fined $300, sentenced to 60 days at the state prison with all suspended and one year probation.

Robert E. Woodham, 32, Wales, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release on Sept. 28, found guilty on first and second charges, sentenced to four years at the state prison with all but 63 days suspended, three years probation and restitution of $5,500 on first charge; sentenced to 63 days at the county jail on second charge; third charge dismissed.

Robert Jason Work, 30, New Martinsville, W.Va., aggravated criminal mischief and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Jan. 23, 2004, filed with no cost for each charge.

Eric Wright, 23, Lewiston, probation violation on a Aug. 31, 2001 gross sexual assault charge, sentenced to four years at the state prison and probation revoked.

Maurice S. Young, 24, Boston, Mass., unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, illegal importation of scheduled drugs and aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs on Jan. 7, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to 18 months at the state prison; second and third charges dismissed.
