BT Pallet of Lewiston captured the recent Charlie Mull Memorial Softball Tournament at Brunswick with a 5-1 record. The Palletmen opened with a tough 13-12 loss to Portland Pipe, but rolled through the losers’ bracket, scoring 99 runs and banging out 127 hits. That set up a showdown in the finals against Portland Pipe. Pallet prevailed 18-6. But a second game couldn’t be played due to darkness. Total runs were used to determine the tourney champ, giving Pallet the hardware.

The champs were led by Ed Fadden, .700; Bob Martin, .690; Randy Dubay, .678; and Jesse St. Laurent, .650. Other members of the team are Mike Gazza, Brad Boyle, Toby Federico, Ron Tierney, Ken Stevens, Scott Corriveau, Brian Harvey, Heath Crocker, Dan Martin, Drew Leavitt and Don Theriault.

The team would like to thank B&T Pallet and Danny’s Landscapes Plus for their sponsorship.

B&T will be hosting a tournament on Saturday, June 2 to help defray costs for trips to Vermont, Connecticut and Florida. Anyone interested in playing should call Mike Gazza at 713-3050, or Bob Martin at 225-3578.
