POLAND – One of the most famous comedies of the American stage wiil make its debut appearance at the Dr. Robert Wall Theater May 9-12. The Poland Players will present Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple, Female Style” as the last show of their 2006-7 season.

When Olive, a hygienically challenged newscaster, decides to help her neurotic, neat-freak friend, Florence by inviting her to become a roommate, mayhem breaks out. Learning to live together is no simple task, and the play follows the pair as they battle with burnt fowl, flying linguini and the almost English-speaking brothers Manolo and Jesus.

The show is the culminating performance for seniors in the theater program at Poland Regional High School. Many have been performing since middle school.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students. For more information and reservations, call D’Arcy Robinson at 998-5400, extension 218.
