POLAND – The 13th annual Golf Classic, to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Auburn-Lewiston, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30 at the Poland Spring Resort.

It’s a 4-person scramble format with check-in time at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start at 12 noon. During the tourney there will be assorted contests, including hole-in-one, long drive and closest to the pin. A social hour will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a silent auction and the awards ceremony.

Prizes will be awarded to the top four foursomes.

Entry fee is $400 per foursome, or $100 per golfer. Checks should be made payable to Boys & Girls Club of Auburn/Lewiston. Golfers may register via e-mail at info@bgcmaine.org, or phone 874-1069/795-6713. Registration deadline is May 25. More information can be obtained by visiting www.bgcmaine.org.
