BRUNSWICK – Midcoast Youth Theater will hold auditions Tuesday, May 22, and Wednesday, May 23, for its third annual summer teen production “Crazy Ror You.”

On both dates, auditions will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at Studio 48, 20 Davis St. All teens entering grades 9 through 12 are welcome. Come prepared with a song. Sheet music or a CD is encouraged but not required.

“Crazy For You” is a high-energy comedy by Ken Ludwig, with music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin. The plot centers around the son of a wealthy banking family, Bobby Child, whose dreams of becoming a dancer lead him into a hilarious swirl of romance, disguise and mistaken identity.

Classic songs include “I Got Rhythm,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” “Embraceable You,” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

The production will be directed by Michael Millett, with choreography by Elaine Perry and musical direction by Rebecca Beck Atkins. Show dates are July 26, 27 and 28.
