TURNER – A misplay on an infield pop-up with the bases loaded in the sixth inning opened the door for three runs to give Leavitt a 5-4 victory over Morse.

The Hornets (7-6) scored on the play when Morse threw the ball away. Leavitt added two more runs, including an RBI single by Jenny Knowles, who had two hits. Brittaney Gurney, Paige Dyer and Liz Sabine also had two hits

Lewiston 10, EL 5

AUBURN – Lewiston scored five runs on five hits in the third inning in a 10-5 victory over Edward Little in KVAC softball Tuesday.

Carly Denis and Katie Cobb led the hit parade with three each for the Blue Devils (6-7). Danielle Willey, Patricia Defosse and Michelle Caron each had two.

Kayla Cummings had three hits for EL (1-12). Alyssa Levesque, Becca Witten, Michelle Peaco and Tonya Cole each had two hits.

St. Dom’s 7, OOB 6

AUBURN – Heidi Nadeau ripped an RBI single in the seventh inning to score Mary Lewis and lift St. Dom’s to a 7-6 victory over Old Orchard Beach. Kelsey Murphy led the Saints (7-3) with two hits and one RBI. Jenn Cullen held the Seagulls (3-7) to four hits to notch the win.

Oak Hill 4, Mt. View 3

THORNDIKE – Cadie Rodrigue had three hits and drove in the game-winning run in the ninth inning to lift Oak Hill to a 4-3 victory over Mt. View in KVAC softball Tuesday. Deidra Dubuc, Sarah Albert, Angie Russell and Becca Roberts each had two hits for the Raiders (7-7). Miranda Grotten led Mt. View (3-9) with three hits.

Monmouth 2, Lisbon 0

MONMOUTH – Brittany Hilton struck out eight and allowed just one hit as Monmouth blanked Lisbon 2-0 in MVC softball Tuesday. The Mustangs (7-5) got their runs from an RBI single from Jenn Lola in the fifth and a single by Samantha Fairchild in the sixth.

Mt. Blue 11, Mt. Ararat 0

FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue scored eight runs in the first inning to rout Mt. Ararat 8-0 Tuesday in KVAC softball.

Megan Richard had a no-hitter going into the seventh inning before the Eagles (0-11) produced three singles. Richard struck out four and walked just one.

The Cougars (9-4) were led by Caitlin Richard with three hits and four RBIs. Amelia Allen also had three hits while April Mullen had a pair. Sabrina Keach and Ashley Gaucher each drove in two runs.

Sacopee Valley 4, Buckfield 2

BUCKFIELD – Kayla Crowley smashed an RBI triple in the fifth inning to lift Sacopee Valley to a 4-2 victory over Buckfield in WMC softball action Tuesday. Jill Whitney chipped in for the Hawks (7-6) with an RBI double. Whitney Stacey held Buckfield (7-3) to just two hits to record the mound win.

The Bucks were paced by veteran pitcher Kasey Farrington with a pair of hits.

Madison 6, Mountain Valley 3

RUMFORD – Ashley Marandola hurled seven innings of six-hit softball and received strong run support as Madison rolled to a 6-3 victory over Mountain Valley in a MVC tilt. Jessica Romano led the Bulldogs (9-2) with two hits on the day.

The Falcons ((5-7) were paced by Tanya Martin and Kim Clark with two hits apiece. Martin’s performance was highlighted by a home run.

Mt. Abram 7, Hall-Dale 3

SALEM – Logahn Walker tossed a one-hitter and added three hits on offense to lead Mt. Abram to a 7-3 win over Hall-Dale.

After Meg Cousins hit a three-run homer for Hall-Dale (6-8) for its only hit, the Roadrunners (7-4) tied it when an outfield error with the bases-loaded scored three runs in the fourth.

Morgan Cummings added a two-run single in the sixth. Cummings and Rachel Fullerton also had three hits for Mt. Abram.

Fryeburg 13, York 1

FRYEBURG – Hannah Hill hurled six innings of four-hit softball and helped her own cause at the plate with three hits and three RBIs as Fryeburg cruised past York 13-1 in a WMC tilt Tuesday. Heather Tripp contributed for the Raiders (12-0) with three hits and five RBIs in a well-balanced attack.

York (1-9) was paced by Linney Hayes with two hits on the day, while Lissy Enright was saddled with the loss.
