AUBURN – Kyle Bussiere scored on an errant throw by Cony’s catcher in the ninth inning to lift Edward Little to a 8-7 victory over the Rams.

Bussiere led the Eddies (6-8) with five hits and four runs scored, while Kevin Smith and Mike Muise tallied two hits each. Muise picked up the mound win after three innings of work.

Mountain Valley 9, Monmouth 2

MONMOUTH – Matt Laubauskas knocked in what would prove to be the winning run on an RBI double in the seventh inning to help Mountain Valley post a 9-2 win over Monmouth.

Justin Staires started the scoring for the Falcons (12-1) with an RBI double in the first inning. Seven runs were scored in the seventh to break a 2-2 tie, with RBI singles from Corey Devoe, Ben French, and Keith Brennick.

Gardiner 9, Leavitt 1

TURNER – Roland Kennerson smacked a two-run single in the first inning, and an RBI single in the fifth to lead Gardiner to a 9-1 win over Leavitt.

Devon Brown had an RBI double.

Richmond 8, Buckfield 0

RICHMOND – Kyle Lancaster hurled seven innings of two-hit baseball as Richmond rolled to a 8-0 shutout over Buckfield.

The Bobcats (10-0) erupted for five runs in the fourth inning, ignited by a two-run double from Sam Carter.

Brunswick 7, Lewiston 0

LEWISTON – Josh Clark scattered three hits as Brunswick outlasted Lewiston 7-0.

Clark helped himself out at the plate going 2-2 with an RBI.

Telstar 5, Jay 2

JAY – Ryan Kimball’s first-inning home run helped Telstar open an early lead en route to a 5-2 victory over Jay.

Kyle Maines took a 5-0 lead into the final inning before Jay rallied with a pair of runs, but a double play with the tying run at the plate ended the game.

Poland 7, Fryeburg 4

FRYEBURG – Tyler Merchant and Jack Pelletier combined for five hits and two RBIs to lead Poland to a 7-4 victory over Fryeburg.

Merchant led the Knights (12-1) with three hits, while pitcher Joe Douglass added two.

Douglass also picked up the win.

Oxford Hills 13, Mt. Blue 1

SOUTH PARIS – Run scoring doubles from Ethan Sutton and Ben Goodall sparked a seven-run third inning as Oxford Hills crushed Mt. Blue, 13-1.

Goodall led the Vikings (12-2) with three hits and two RBIs.

The Cougars (5-9) were paced by Curtis Steele with two hits.

Lisbon 12, Carrabec 0

LISBON – Devan Knight had a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI to pace Lisbon to a 12-0 victory over Carrabec.

Marcus Bubar had two hits and four RBIs for the Greyhounds (11-2).

Livermore Falls 7, Mt. Abram 2

SALEM – Willie Brown hit a two-run triple in the seventh inning ensuring a 7-2 Livermore Falls victory over Mt. Abram Wednesday.

Jake Marceau collected the win on the mound, striking out nine. Justin Tainter had three singles for the Andies (9-4).

Wyatt Johnson had two singles for the Roadrunners (2-10).

Lewiston 12, Cony 6

AUGUSTA – Lewiston’s Jonathan Roy and Tim Gilbert netted five goals apiece blazing a path to a 12-6 win over Cony.

Zach Blauvelt and Westley Meyers had a goal apiece.

Lincoln 11, Oak Hill 7

WALES – Derek Joannides and Nat Sander netted four goals apiece Wednesday to lead Lincoln Academy to a 11-7 victory over Oak Hill.

The Raiders (10-1) got two goals each from Nate Lavoie, Tyler Pomerleau and Joey Gilbert.
