PARIS – Emmylou Blake scored on Diane Ransey’s squeeze bunt with one out in the eighth inning to lift Oxford Hills to a 3-2 triumph over Mt. Blue.

The Vikings (12-2) rallied to tie the game in the seventh when Paula Eells’ single knocked in Sam Dolloff, who had reached on a triple. Amelia Allen’s RBI single helped Mt. Blue (8-5) open up a 2-0 lead in the third inning.

Jen Jurczak tossed a two-hitter and fanned 12, while Mt. Blue’s Megan Richards scattered five hits and struck out four.

Gray-New Gloucester 2, Lake Region 1

GRAY – Ali Olmstead ripped an RBI single in the fifth inning to lift Gray-New Gloucester to a 2-1 victory over Lake Region.

Olivia Ryan led the Patriots (9-5) with two hits and two runs scored. Laura Getchell gave up just two hits for Gray to post the win.

St. Dom’s 10, Freeport 1

AUBURN – St. Dom’s capitalized on 13 Freeport errors to post a 10-1 win over the Eagles.

Jen Cullen recorded the win on the mound, and also helped her own cause by smacking a two-run single for the Saints (7-3).

Freeport’s (3-8) Nicole Engel hit an RBI triple, while Kristen Stasinowsky had a triple and an RBI single.

Brunswick 10, Lewiston 1

LEWISTON – Brunswick erupted for six runs in the second inning to nab an eventual 10-1 win over Lewiston.

The Dragons (12-1) scored their six runs on two singles, an error, two walks, and a wild pitch.

Jess Timmereck got the win. Sam Morency brought in Kayla Michaud to record the Blue Devils (6-8) lone run in the fourth.

Gardiner 3, Leavitt 2

TURNER – Chelsea Stryker scored on a suicide squeeze in the third inning to lift Gardiner to a 3-2 victory over Leavitt.

Stryker led the Tigers (4-9) with two hits on the day, while Courtney Allen gave up just three hits to record the win.

Brittany Gurney struck out 12 on the hill for Leavitt.

Lisbon 19, Carrabec 0

LISBON – Vickie Osmond and Kala Michaud combined to shut down Carrabec as Lisbon rolled to a 19-0 shutout.

Heather Parry led the Greyhounds (8-5) with two hits and four RBIs, while Christy McAuliffe added two hits and three RBIs.

Osmond recorded the win after working the first four innings.

Mt. Abram 11, Livermore Falls 2

SALEM – Jillian Withee had three hits, including two triples, to lead Mt. Abram to an 11-2 victory over Livermore Falls.

Desirae Abott for the Roadrunner (4-9) win as well.

For the Andies (4-9), Jayde Purington had a double and later scored a run, while Kathryn Lake smacked a triple.

Fryeburg 3, Poland 2

POLAND – Hannah Hill raced home from second base on an infield error, and Fryeburg outlasted Poland 3-2 in 10 innings.

Hill also pitched an outstanding game, striking out 18 Poland batters.

Buckfield 10, Richmond 9

RICHMOND – Kasey Farrington struck out six batters and was key in preventing the go-ahead tying run from scoring in the seventh as Buckfield handed Richmond their first loss this season in an evenly matched 10-9 contest.

Danielle Labbe and Alyssa Henderson each smacked a pair of singles for the Bucks (8-3) win.

Edward Little 3, Cony 0

AUBURN – Alice Read had two hits and two RBIs and Becca Witten had two hits and one RBI to lead Edward Little to a 3-0 win over Cony.

Pitcher Alyssa Levesque registered the win for the Eddies (2-12), striking out four batters and giving up no walks.

Monmouth 9, Mountain Valley 5

RUMFORD – Relief pitcher Brittany Hilton struck out eight to pace the Monmouth softball team to a 9-5 win over Mountain Valley.

Samantha Fairchild smacked a pair of singles for the Mustangs (8-5) win, while Shelby Moore had two singles for the Mountain Valley (5-8) effort.

Oxford Hills 11, Camden Hills 7

SOUTH PARIS – Lauren Brett and Meredith Vieira each tallied four goals a piece as Oxford Hills notched a come from behind win over Camden Hills 11-7 in girls’ lacrosse action.

Hannah Strauss had a pair of goals, while Heather Knights scored one for the Vikings win.

Fallen Adkinson netted four goals, while Margaret Williams had two, and Alex Grenert scored one goal for Camden Hills.
