POLAND – In just his second varsity start, Nick Douglass hurled a no-hitter, fanning eight batters, to lead Poland to a 10-0 win over Lake Region.

Walks, hit by pitches, and timely hits helped the Knights (14-1) explode in the fifth inning for six of their 10 runs.

Tyler Merchant had an RBI triple, Douglass hit a two-run double, and Eric Picard smacked an RBI double.

Lisbon 7, Mountain Valley 2

WATERVILLE – Tyler Brown gave up three hits, walked one and struck out 10, as Lisbon earned the MVC Championship with a 7-2 victory over Mountain Valley.

The Greyhounds were paced by Jason Blackwell’s two hits and two RBIs, while Mike Unterkeofler, Andy Ouellette and Marcus Bubar also tallied two hits each.

The Falcons received hits from Matt Laubaskas, Corey Devoe and Andy Shorey.

Cony 6, Mt. Blue 5

AUGUSTA – Tom Poulin ripped a two-run, two-out single in the seventh inning to lift Cony to a 6-5 victory over Mt. Blue.

Zack Logan led the Rams (8-8) with two hits, while reliever Ray Cotnoir picked up the win.

The Cougars (6-10) were paced by Mike Toothaker with two hits, including a double, and an RBI.

Starter Adam Gilbert went the distance for Mt. Blue.

Oak Hill 6, MCI 3

PITTSFIELD – Brandon Plourde belted a pair of hits and had three RBIs to propel Oak Hill to a 6-3 victory over MCI.

Ethan Guerrette and Tim Levesque chipped in for the Raiders (9-7) with doubles, while Chris Ellis picked up his fourth win after six innings of work. MCI (2-14) was paced by Adam Conners with a home run, while Ethan West belted a triple.

Lewiston 13, Leavitt 2

LEWISTON – Alex Wong hit a two-run single with two-outs in the second inning to start the ball rolling as Lewiston posted a 13-2 victory over Leavitt.

Ryan Lagasse smacked a two-run triple, and pitcher Eddie West hit an RBI double to help his own cause for the Devils (9-7). West struck out six in five innings for the win.

Evan Barker had a triple and Jason Rines had a double for Leavitt (2-14).

Mt. Abram 6, Madison 1

SALEM – Sterling Hooke slammed an inside-the-park home run in the fifth inning as Mt. Abram defeated Madison 6-1.

Wyatt Johnson collected the win for the Roadrunners (3-12), striking out nine. Sean Boivin added an RBI double.

For the Bulldogs (2-13), Justin Grant had three hits, while Ezra Gourley had two.

Buckfield 8, Rangeley 4

RANGELEY – Jamie Henderson belted a home run to lead Buckfield to an 8-4 triumph over Rangeley.

Henderson finished with three hits. Isaac Beaudoin had a triple and Justin Woodcock added a double for the Bucks (9-5). Kent Madeira led the Lakers (10-4) with a home run and a double.

St. Dom’s 10, Traip 2

KITTERY – Casey Parker smacked a bases-clearing double in the second inning to lead St. Dom’s to a 10-2 win over Traip.

Peter Lewis hit a triple for the Saints (14-1), while Jacob Rutt added a double. Andy Allen picked up the win.

Tom Kuehl hit a double for Traip (4-11).
