LEWISTON – Bates College women’s lacrosse athlete Molly Wagner has been named a Division III Third Team All-American by the Intercolegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association and U.S. Lacrosse.

Wagner, of Longmeadow, Mass., becomes the Bobcats’ 13th All-American in women’s lacrosse, and the first since Molly McMahon in 1998.

A team co-captain, Wagner led the Bobcats (8-7) in goals (39), points (49), ground balls (37), draw controls (35) and caused turnovers (30). She ranked third in NESCAC competition for goals per game (2.60), and 50th in Division III in caused turnovers per game (2.00).
