BRUNSWICK – Senior midfielder Kit Smith scored a hat trick to power Brunswick to a 9-4 victory over Lewiston in the KVAC boys’ lacrosse championship match Friday evening.
The undefeated Dragons (12-0) methodically scored a pair of goals in each of the first three quarters to take a 6-2 lead and improved to 9-4 on three goals in the final frame.
The Blue Devils (11-2) shared goal scoring duties among four different players as junior attacker Ben Landry and junior midfielder Jon Roy notched one apiece.
Brunswick goalie Henry Mills had a fine outing in the cage for the Dragons, making 11 saves. Lewiston goalie Alex Pare turned back 10 shots.
