FRYEBURG – Sophomore attackman Ben Adams scored two goals and an assist to pace St. Dom’s to a 10-5 victory over Fryeburg in WMC boys’ lacrosse action Friday.

The Saints (5-7) jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first quarter and a 7-3 advantage at intermission. Sophomore attackman Simon Hebert played a supporting role with three assists.

Goalie Mark Schwalenburg protected the Raiders’ (2-10) interest with 11 saves, but faced an overwhelming 39 shots on goal in the loss.

Brunswick 9, Lewiston 4

BRUNSWICK – Senior midfielder Kit Smith scored a hat trick to power Brunswick to a 9-4 victory over Lewiston in the KVAC boys’ lacrosse championship match Friday evening.

The undefeated Dragons (12-0) methodically scored a pair of goals in each of the first three quarters to take a 6-2 lead and improved to 9-4 on three goals in the final frame.

The Blue Devils (11-2) shared goal scoring duties among four different players as junior attacker Ben Landry and junior midfielder Jon Roy notched one apiece.

Brunswick goalie Henry Mills had a fine outing in the cage for the Dragons, making 11 saves.

Lewiston goalie Alex Pare turned back 10 shots.
