Alumni banquet

BETHEL – A Woodstock High School alumni banquet will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Telstar High School cafeteria. Special guests will be classes of 1937, 1947 and 1957 and Telstar seniors from Woodstock and Greenwood. All alumni are welcome. A fee of $8.50 is charged for all other than special guests.

Church worship

PARIS – Trinity Luther Church, 34 Buckfield Road, will hold worship at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 10, followed by coffee, refreshments and good fellowship.

Seniors to meet

BETHEL – Bethel Senior Citizens Club will hold a meeting and luncheon at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at the Pleasant Valley Grange Hall, West Bethel. The speaker will be Jay Boschetti.

Turkey supper

OXFORD – A turkey supper with all the fixings will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Oxford Grange on Route 26. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

Heywood Club

NORWAY – The Heywood Club of Norway will have a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 11, at Trudy Morse’s camp on North Pond. Car pooling is encouraged. Members should bring their own plates and utensils. Beverages will be provided.

AARP meeting

PARIS – The Oxford Hills Chapter, AARP, will meet on Monday, June 11, at the First Congregational Church, South Paris. Lunch will be at noon, and reservations are required by calling Betty Hayes at 743-6761 by noon Friday, June 8. Cost is $6.50 each. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with a program to follow. The speaker will be John Howe discussing “Energy Conservation.”
