POLAND – The wedding of Michele Riddell and James O’Connor was held at 6 p.m. on May 5 at All Souls Chapel. Joyce Ruby, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. O’Connor is the daughter of Andrew and Carole Riddell of Wilmington, Ohio. Mr. O’Connor is the son of Linda Bloodgood and husband, Doug Bloodgood of Brunswick, and David O’Connor and his wife, Gale O’Connor of Burlington, Vt.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory gown with champagne rose accents and accented with pearls and sequins. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory and pink roses.

Carolann McClellan was maid of honor for her mother, and bridesmaids were Cindy Carpenter, sister of the bride, and Melissa Martin. Marley Riddell, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Richard Gamache performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Jason Gamache and Chris Dall. Kristofer McClellan, son of the bride, and Cory O’Connor, son of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Fireside Inn and Suites in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in nursing. She is employed at Maine Center for Cancer Medicine in Brunswick.

The bridegroom is employed at Dingley Press, and is also self-employed in roofing and construction.
