“Anima Mundi (Soul of the Earth),” an exhibit featuring the works of fiber artist Richard Lee of Richmond and emerging German artist Judith Krischik of Mt. Vernon, will be shown July 1-30 at the Stadler Gallery in Kingfield. Lee’s artwork reflects earth imagery. He molds raw fibers with a minimum of processing into vast sheets of paper fashioned into installation art. His large works, “Ploughed Fields” (8 feet by 14 feet), “Mountain” and “Hay Field” connect viewers to the natural world. Krischik’s paintings express subconscious themes taken from dreams that appear in her work as mythical figurative imagery. An opening reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1. Opening hours are from noon to 4 p.m. daily. The gallery is at 225 Main St. For more information, call 265-5025 or go to www.stadlergallery.com.
