South Lewiston defeated Hall-Dale 13-7 to advance in the District 5 Major Division Baseball Tournament.
Cody Mousseau sparked the offense, walloping a homer and driving in 5 runs. Brett Vallee and Cam Marquis also drilled a home run. Devon Beland chipped in with 2 hits and made a fine defensive play.
Willy Desmarais hurled 4 1/3 innings and aided his cause with 2 hits. Mousseau finished up.
Other team members are Alec Collins, Steven Labrecque, Tyler Goyette, Kile Conn, Daniel Fortier, Bryan Doyle, Andrew Gosselin and Jacob Kendall.
South Lewiston will now play Augusta in Augusta on Friday, July 6 at 5:30 p,.m.
