LEWISTON – The Elliot Little League’s baseball all-star teams are now in full swing in the District 5 Tournament.

All 3 clubs will be in action tonight, as follows: 9-10, at Dirigo; 10-11, Augusta, at New Auburn; Major Division (11-12), Gardiner, at Auburn Suburban.

Following are all-star rosters for the three divisions of Elliot LL:

9-10: Reilly Bolduc, Brian Bonenfant, Jacob Charest, Caleb Dostie, Shawn Gagnier, Devin Harrison, Chad Hinkley, Ben Howell, Kyle Lemelin, Jacob McBride, Matthew Poulin, Austin Wing. Guy Dostie is the manager, with John Charest and Mike St. Pierre serving as coaches.

10-11: Colton Bernier, Evan Bourassa, Evan Gosselin, Tom Hird, Jeremy Kearns, Zack McBride, Ethan Melvin, Coleman Morency, Nicholas Perreault, Alex Small, Peter Tirabassi, Brady Whetzel. Luke Bourassa is the manager and Bob Kearns is the coach.

11-12: Jacob Bergeron, Matthew Bouchard, Luke Cote, Jordan Charest, David Cusson, Eddie Emerson, Ryan Laverdiere, Sam Morin, Matthew Poto, Brendan Rac, Eric Soucy, Brian Wigant. Gary Wigant is the manager and Tom Poto serves as coach.

South Lewiston wins

LEWISTON – Ben Trytek and Michael Wong were the big sticks as the South Lewiston Little League 9-10-year-old All-Stars defeated Gardiner 13-9 Tuesday in the District 5 playoffs.

Both players cracked 3 hits, with Wong driving in 4 runs and Trytek 3. Brandon Varney chipped in with 2 hits and 2 RBI.

Isaiah Harris and Taylor Vaillancourt each pitched 3 innings in the win.

Big defensive plays were turned in by Andrew Gosselin and Ryan Bell.

South Lewiston will host New Auburn tonight at 5:30.
