MECHANIC FALLS – A Yarmouth woman who flipped her car on Route 121 late Thursday night remained hospitalized Friday.

Michelle Reynolds, 24, was alone when her convertible rolled off the road about 10:30 p.m. What caused the accident remained unclear. The car landed in a dirt driveway opposite Dr. Lawrence Murch’s optometry office.

Maine State Police assisted with a reconstruction of the crash site.

Reynolds was taken to Central Maine Medical Center. At Reynolds’ request, no information about her was being released, a nursing supervisor said Friday night.

No charges were filed, and the crash remained under investigation Friday.
