LEWISTON – Artwork by 47 adults and children, all students of local art teacher Mercedes Gastonguay, will be featured in an annual exhibition in the Atrium Art Gallery at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College. The exhibition of oils, ink and pencil drawings, pastels, scratchboard, and watercolors opens Friday, July 13, and continues through Aug. 17.

The exhibition includes portraits, landscapes, still lifes, wildlife studies, seascapes, and floral studies.

A reception, free and open to the public, will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. July 13. The Edward Little Music Association will provide beverages.
