MESSALONSKEE-David Ricker smashed a three-run homer, adding to a seven-run second inning, as Monmouth cruised to a 13-0 win over Messalonskee.

Wally Rines had three hits and plated four in the offensive outburst while Justin Denbow knocked in three runs on two hits.

Spot starter Travis Harwood and Forrest Dwyer combined for the one-hit shutout as Monmouth remained unbeaten at 12-0.

Kyle Bouchard suffered the loss for Messalonskee (5-7).

Mechanic Falls 8, Andy Valley 0

TURNER-Tyler Merchant knocked in three runs on three hits, including a pair of doubles, and Nick Mullins added two singles and a home run as Mechanic Falls blanked Andy Valley 8-0.

Jake Pelletier turned in a dominating performance on the hill, striking out seven in six innings for Mechanic Falls (8-4).

Nick Letourneau and Josh Emery each had two hits for Andy Valley (3-9).

Bessey Motors 7, Gayton 4

LEWISTON-A back-and-forth battle ended abruptly in the sixth inning as Justin Frechette stroked a bases loaded, two-out, two-run double leading Bessey Motors in a 7-4 win over Gayton.

Ben Goodall had two hits including a triple and Dylan Trundy added a pair of singles as Bessey Motors improved to 9-5 on the season.

Erik Waite led Gayton (7-5) with a pair of hits.
