Two area golfers scored a hole-in-one in recent action.

Dan Gagne of Litchfield collected an ace on Sunday, July 15 on the #17 hole at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield. He used an 8-iron to cover the 140-yards. The feat was witnessed by playing partners Ron Severance of Readfield, Dave Dixon of Whitefield, and Dale Oakes of West Gardiner.

Ralph Maines of Poland Spring, shot a hole-in-one while competing in the Senior Golf League tourney at Auburn’s Fox Ridge. He was also the gross leader with an 83 (MC).
