Between July 16 at 7 a.m. and July 23 at 7 a.m., the department responded to 867 calls for service. Of those calls, 209 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief

Between July 13 at 6 p.m. and July 16 at 8 a.m., several concrete blocks on the retaining wall were damaged. The blocks were picked up and smashed in the lot. There have been problems in the past with skateboarders removing the blocks to use as jumps.

A vehicle parked at 51 College St. was keyed on July 11, allegedly by the vehicle owner’s ex-girlfriend. The suspect was summonsed for criminal mischief.

The Colisee on Birch Street was tagged with graffiti between July 15 at 5 p.m. and July 16 at 9 a.m.

Several mailboxes along outer Sabattus Street were damaged overnight July 19-20. All of them were able to be repaired from very minor damage.

A vehicle parked at 306 Pine St. was damaged overnight July 19-20.

A flag which was hung at 81 Lincoln St. was taken down and burned on the sidewalk overnight July 21-22.

A vehicle parked at Trinity Church had a tire slashed on July 22 prior to 5 p.m.

An apartment window at 5 Howard St. was smashed by a thrown rock on July 22 at 10:50 p.m.

Several pieces of property at the Payne-Simard Memorial Park were tagged with graffiti sometime between July 21-23.

The second floor of the CMMC parking garage was tagged with graffiti overnight July 20-21.

A vehicle parked at 146 Pierce St. was splashed with paint overnight July 20-21.

A vehicle parked at Labadies Bakery at 161 Lincoln St. was tagged with graffiti overnight July 20-21.

A vehicle parked at 41 Chestnut St. was tagged with graffiti between 4 a.m. and noon on July 21.

Two signs at the Bates Mill complex were tagged with graffiti between midnight and 2 a.m. on July 22.

Motor Vehicle Burglaries

A vehicle parked at 11 Orchard St was burglarized overnight July 17-18. Property was taken from inside.

A vehicle parked at 29 Orchard Circle was burglarized overnight July 17-18. Property was taken from inside.

Thefts

A dark blue children’s bicycle with shocks was stolen from Potvin Park at 1 Cedar St. on July 19 at 1 p.m.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at 780 Main St. sometime between 8 p.m. on July 18 and noon on July 19.

A boy’s BMX bike was stolen from the Palace Arcade at 248 Lisbon St. prior to 4 p.m. on July 19.

A set of lawn globes were stolen from the front of 75 Grove St. overnight July 18-19.

A light blue Schwinn girl’s mountain bike was stolen from 196 Webber Ave. in the afternoon on July 18.

A bicycle was stolen from Lewiston High School prior to 10:30 a.m. on July 16

A residence at 15 Louise Ave. had oil siphoned overnight July 15-16.

A purse was stolen from the Wellness Center at 12 High St. on July 17 prior to 6 p.m.

A light blue Schwinn girl’s mountain bike was stolen from 196 Webber Ave. on July 19 in the afternoon.

A guitar and some tools were stolen from a common area at 46 Oak St. prior to 7 p.m. on July 21.

Burglaries

An apartment at 12 Wood St. was burglarized prior to 10 p.m. on July 16. Entry was gained through an unlocked bedroom window. A diamond engagement ring was stolen.

An apartment at 97 Pierce St. between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. on July 16. The front entry door was kicked in; prescription medicines were stolen.

An apartment at 93 Strawberry Ave. was burglarized prior to 1 p.m. on July 17. An iPod and some CDs were stolen. Entry was gained through an unlocked window.

An apartment at 10 Tall Pines Dr. was burglarized between 3 p.m. on July 18 and 3:45 p.m. on July 20. Entry was gained by forcing a window. Several firearms were stolen from a gun cabinet.

A residence at 233 Lincoln St. was burglarized prior to noon on July 22, a large amount of damage was done to the interior.

The construction area at McMahon Elementary School was burglarized over the weekend July 20-23.

An apartment at 97 Pierce St. was burglarized between 5:45 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. on July 21. Entry was gained by forcing the front door. A laptop computer was stolen.

Robbery

A male subject was jumped and robbed by five black males while he walked through Kennedy Park on July 22 at 4:34 a.m. One suspect was described as wearing dark shorts, a basketball jersey and had an afro. A cell phone and some cash were taken.

OUI Arrests

Kelly Mangos, 28, was charged with operating under the influence, operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on July 18 at 1:28 a.m. at Webster Street and Lorraine Avenue. The vehicle was stopped after it began driving evasively to try to lose an officer who was driving behind it.

Anthony Egan, 47, was charged with operating under the influence on July 18 at 1:48 a.m. at 291 Pine St., following a routine traffic stop. Kyle O’Neal, 22, the passenger, was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Timothy Gilbert, 18, was charged with operating under the influence on July 20 at 1:30 a.m. at Bardwell and Russell streets following a routine traffic stop.

Steven Fusilier, 41, was charged with operating under the influence on July 21 at 12:57 a.m. at 60 Pine St. This was following a routine traffic stop.

James Dorr, 27, was charged with operating under the influence on July 22 at 12:40 a.m. at Main and Frye streets The vehicle was stopped for having a headlight out.

Dustin Strout, 19, was charged with operating while his license suspended, operating under the influence, and failing to stop for an officer on July 22 at 9:39 p.m. at 67 Maple St. An officer attempted to stop the car for loud exhaust; however the operator refused to comply. As he attempted to elude the officer, he struck a curbing, blowing out his tire.

Threatening Arrest

Gary Austin, 31, was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on July 20 at 10:18 p.m. at 226 Blake St.

Aggravated Assaults

A juvenile received a minor wound to his leg from a knife after an altercation with another juvenile while on Bartlett St. on July 22 at 7 p.m. Detectives are investigating.

Dora Rodriguez, 42, was charged with aggravated assault on July 23 at 1:02 a.m. at 90 Elm St. following a domestic dispute her husband was stabbed in the leg. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for possible nerve damage.

Attempted Burglary

An entry door at 57 Tall Pines showed damage from an attempted forced entry. Pry marks from a screwdriver were found around the door jamb. This occurred between midnight on July 16 and 5 p.m on July 18.

Assault Arrests

Randy Bolduc, 42, was charged with burglary, assault and obstructing the report of a crime and Paul Blouin, 40, was charged with burglary and assault on July 18 at 6 a.m. at 7 Russell St. Bolduc and Blouin attempted to break into a trailer and assault the resident, who retaliated with a butcher knife, slicing one of the suspects on the arm.

Drug Trafficking Arrests

Darnell Robinson, 20, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and Timothy Gagnon, 18, was charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs at 425 East Ave. on July 15 at 11 a.m.

A juvenile was also charged with aggravated trafficking. In total, 62 grams of crack cocaine, packed for sale, were confiscated from the vehicle they were found in.

Habitual Offender Notification

Dawn Rossignol, 33, has a suspended license with habitual offender status. She has 15 prior suspensions on her driving record. Her last known address was 135 Oak St. in Lewiston. If you see her driving, please notify us immediately at 784-6421.

Fugitive Arrest

Anthony Brown, 23, was charged with two fugitive from justice warrants out of New Jersey for dangerous drugs and probation revocation on July 19 at 2 p.m. He had been contacted by police the previous day and gave false information regarding his identity. An officer near one of his former addresses saw him exit the building and arrested him.

The department is looking for Hasan Foster, 21, who is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for providing false name.

The department is looking for Raymond Stearns, 38, he is wanted on a warrant charging failure to comply with sex offender registry act.

The department is looking for James Mcneil, 27, he is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for theft.

The department is looking for Troy Hosie, 38, he is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for carrying a concealed weapon.
