AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. today at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St.
There will be the usual raffle table.
Bingo will be played after the meeting and a bag lunch. Members are reminded to bring their cups.
The annual indoor/outdoor picnic was held at the American Legion Hall on July 11 with 68 members present.
The event was supervised by President Merry Strout and Irving Grant, chairman of the board of directors.
The menu, including hot dogs and hamburgers, were served by a volunteer crew with Norman and Pamela Carrier as “chief cooks and bottle washers.”
Coffee and doughnuts were served in the morning, and activities throughout the day included games and bingo, with special and higher awards given for the bingo winners.
Ice cream sundaes were served.
