Ruth Tibbetts, 98, of Peru, residing at the Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center, was presented the Boston Post cane recently. As the eldest resident of Peru, she received the cane, a commemorative plaque, some of her favorite goodies and a bouquet. Presenting the items were Peru Historical Society members Bob Dolloff, president, and Esther Russell, as shown in the photo, and Nancy and Conrad Knox and Shirley Dolloff.
