DIXFIELD – The Main Street Outdoor Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, rain or shine. Food vendors will offer French fries, fried dough, fried clams, lobster rolls, chicken barbecue and sausage.

Handmade baskets, handknit “Harry Potter” scarves, maple syrup, flea market items and used books will be among the offerings.

Live music will be played at the gazebo on the Village Green, and the fifth annual Bicentennial Road Race will be held there in the early morning hours. To register for the races, contact Paul at 562-7172.

Vendor space is still available for $15 for a 10-foot by 15-foot space. Funds not used for advertising the event will be used to promote projects in town, such as beautifying Main Street, the Halloween Walk and Easter Egg Hunt.
