Oxford – Helen L. (Pike) Wilbur, 75, passed away July 28, at her home in Oxford.

She was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Kennebunk, to Ruthven and Harriett (Somers) Hudson. She attended Thornton Academy in Saco, and received a nursing degree from Goodall Hospital in Biddeford. She enjoyed a long career in the healthcare industry.

She was an avid naturalist and gardener, and was a member of Grace Fellowship church. She had many interests and hobbies, but was best known for her wit and sense of fun. She had a positive, outgoing personality that drew people to her, and she extended the boundaries of her family to include all people she loved.

She had a true gift for bringing people together, and will be missed by all members of her extended family.

She is survived by her partner, Willis Lowell of Oxford; her children, David Wagner of Hartford, Deborah Lecours of Buxton, Joel Wagner of Norway, Joanne Pike-Manley of Lewiston, and Amanda Sahadak of Buxton; sister, Marjorie Vaganis of Beverly, Mass.; brother, Robert Hudson of Boynton Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, and was anticipating the arrival of the tenth, due this month.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jesse Lowell; son, Michael Wagner; grandsons, Benjamin Wagner and Matthew Manley; and brother, John Hudson.
