GREENE – Announcement is made of the engagement of Mary Margaret Medvar and Ricky Nelson Blais, both of Conroe, Texas.
Miss Medvar is the daughter of Pamela Medvar and George Medvar of Dover, N.J. She received a bachelor’s degree in marine science from the University of Maine at Orono, and is employed as an environmental educator for the Houston Independent School District in Trinity, Texas.
Mr. Blais is the son of Candy Blais and Mario Blais of Greene. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Maine at Orono and is employed as an electrical engineer at Dashiell Corp. in Houston, Texas.
The wedding is planned for October of 2008.
