AUBURN – They could be described as acoustic folk/pop. But members of The Half Moon Jug Band prefer to call themselves “Maine’s finest purveyors of high-octane, street-corner, acoustic music.”
This energetic group will take the stage at noon Thursday, Aug. 16, in Festival Plaza, as part of L/A Arts’ Music in The Parks 2007.
Making up The Half Moon Jug Band are Troy R. Bennett, vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica; Mike Petruk, vocals and drums; Steve Brewer, vocals, bass, harmonica, and kazoo; and Glen Bolduc, vocals, mandolin and trumpet.
Music in the Parks concerts are free and last about one hour. If it should rain, the concert will be held, same time and date, at the Franco-American Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston.
