PARIS – The federal Environmental Protection Agency removed 33,000 tons of chromium-contaminated soil at the former A.C. Lawrence Leather Co. between Aug. 14, 2006, and July 6, 2007. An article on Wednesday’s B1 of the Oxford Hill edition incorrectly reported the amount removed.
