RUMFORD – The following cases were closed recently in 11th District Court.

David J. Adams, 35, Westbrook, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on March 18, both charges dismissed.

Laurie Allen, 18, Rumford, keeping a dangerous dog on June 14 and two counts of keeping an unlicensed dog on June 15, offense committed on all charges, fined $250 on first charge; fined $75 for each on second and third charges.

Ashley M. Amburg, 18, Dixfield, allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor on June 9, found guilty, fined $200.

Paul E. Austin, 57, Dixfield, operating and/or permitting operation of an unregistered motorboat and operating without safety equipment on June 27, both charges waived, fined $100 for each charge.

James B. Autry, 48, Mexico, operating after registration suspended on May 9, waived, fined $150.

Robert Keller Barton, 42, Peru, operating under the influence on June 3, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 48 hours and license suspended 90 days.

Edward T. Boucher, 30, Bangor, protective order from harassment violation on July 3, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

Edward T. Boucher, 30, South Paris, violating a protective order on June 12, found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours.

Devon M. Bradley, 19, Rumford, possession of liquor by a minor on June 9, offense committed, fined $200.

Thomas C. Brown, 53, Rumford, littering on May 12 and possession of marijuana on May 4, offense committed, fined $350.

Amanda M. Bryce, 20, Rumford, unsworn falsification on June 8, found guilty, fined $75.

Daniel A. Castonguay, 19, Livermore, transportation of liquor by a minor on July 4, offense committed, fined $200 and license suspended 30 days.

Samuel B. Chapman, 20, Gilead, possession of marijuana on June 30, offense committed, fined $350.

Christopher P. Cobbett, 32, Norway, trapping bear after having killed one, trapping without written consent, failure to visit traps in organized town and exceeding bag limits on bears, all charges sent to jury trial.

Shanelle D. Coolidge, 25, West Farmington, operating after registration suspended on April 20, dismissed.

Lucas P. Dewildt, 27, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on June 3, offense committed, fined $350.

Walter W. Dyment, 40, Lewiston, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on April 1, offense committed on both charges, fined $350 on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Benjamin W. Eastman, 28, Center Lowell, loaded firearm or crossbow in motor vehicle on Oct. 3, waived, fined $200.

Colby D. Frost, 48, Rangeley, unlawfully trolling fly on June 2, waived, fined $100.

Mark J. Gallant, 46, Mexico, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 5, found guilty, fined $125 and restitution of $60.

Danielle R. Ginn, 32, Mexico, disorderly conduct on Aug. 7, found guilty, fined $100.

Timothy L. Gotto, 47, Rumford, criminal mischief on July 31 and violating condition of release on July 31 and Aug. 8, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 48 hours and restitution of $200 on first charge; sentenced to 48 hours for each on second and third charges.

Mark A. Grondin, 52, Otisfield, violating a fishing rule on June 16, waived, fined $100.

Joel L. Hanmer, 28, Saco, failing to display ATV registration numbers on July 6, waived, fined $100.

Chester A. Herrick, 42, Bethel, violating a fishing rule on July 1, waived, fined $100.

John W. Houy, 48, Saco, operating an unregistered ATV on July 7, waived, fined $100.

Michael A. Kissell, 27, Coventry, Conn., possessing fish in violation on May 28, waived, fined $120.

Lawrence J. Lapoint, 50, Mexico, assault on May 15, sent to jury trial.

Michael Larrivee, 58, Buxton, operating an unregistered ATV on July 6, waived, fined $100.

Katherine A. MacBain, 23, Portsmouth, R.I., failing to obtain a driver’s license on May 14, found guilty, fined $50.

Charles Martin, 51, Mexico, endangering the welfare of a child and cultivating marijuana on June 19, both charges sent to jury trial.

Curran F. McGarry, 18, Hollis, transportation of liquor by a minor and possession of marijuana on June 30, offense committed on both charges, fined $100 and license suspended 30 days on first charge; fined $350 on second charge.

Dustin A. McLain, 21, Mexico, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on June 15, offense committed on both charges, fined $350 on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Shannon Merriam, 37, Mexico, operating under the influence, with one prior, and violating condition of release on July 17, both charges sent to jury trial.

Orlando Ortiz, 19, Rumford, operating a vehicle without a license on May 25, found guilty, fined $100.

Duane L. Pease, 40, Livermore Falls, operating after registration suspended on June 3, found guilty, fined $100.

Michael Pitcher, 22, Simsbury, Conn., violating a fishing rule on July 9, waived, fined $100.

Dana L. Richardson, 48, Rumford, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating condition of release on June 25, 2007, both charges sent to jury trial.

Jeffrey E. Russell, 21, Hartford, criminal speed on June 24, sent to jury trial.

Tyler J. Smith, 21, Bethel, assault on July 6, sent to jury trial.

Jonathan M. Spaulding, 20, Carthage, possession of liquor by a minor on June 23, offense committed, fined $200.

Frank E. Wilson, 50, Alexandria, Va., operation 60-70 hour rule violation on Feb. 22, 2004, found guilty, fined $250.
